This building is unique compared to other buildings in the area as it is clad with wood plastic composite (WPC) cladding instead of the more common aluminium composite panels (ACP).
The highly combustible WPC cladding had to be removed and replaced with a non-combustible cladding system that meets the relevant safety standards. The project team worked closely with experts in bio-wood products and facade systems to ensure the replacement cladding was safe and appropriate for the building’s unique characteristics.
