The Penrith Health Precinct, located opposite Nepean Hospital, was initiated through a local council request to undertake a feasibility study and visualisation. This documentation was prepared to support a funding proposal to the state government.

The precinct concept aims to complement Nepean Hospital's expansion by providing allied health services and medical hotel suites to meet the area's healthcare needs.
